How you can raise funds for your school

We are affiliated with many online retailers who all pay a commission every time you buy through PTA Planet. These commission payments range from 2% to 40% and some retailers pay out a lump some when you make a purchase – these vary widely.

Each time a sale is made by clicking on one of the many links on our site, we’re paid a commission and 50% of that commission goes into the PTA Fund. Three times a year (Jan/May/Sept) this fund is shared out between the schools who have registered with us.

Funds are distributed on a per pupil basis. Your share will also be dependent on the number of days you’ve been registered with us within a payment period.

What we ask of you

Every two months we supply you with a downloadable newsletter which we ask you to print out and distribute to all parents at your school.

It’s important when you first register to tell us the date on which the first batch was distributed as this is when your registration officially commences. We also ask that you send us a quick email when you send out subsequent batches of newsletters (6 times a year) so that we know you’re playing your part in the scheme.

Shopping through PTA Planet won’t cost you anymore than usual. In fact, we have a special page dedicated to discounts, sales and fantastic offers to help you save as much as you can when shopping.  Some discount codes that we get are exclusive to PTA Planet and may not be found elsewhere.

Therefore, you can get all the items you would usually buy from your favourite retailers, perhaps with a discount thrown in, as well as fundraising for your school at the same time!

How to shop through PTA Planet

The great thing about PTA Planet is that no log-ins, codes or passwords are required so anyone can shop at PTA Planet including parents, friends, relatives, teachers etc.

To make a purchase, from M&S for example, all you need to do is click on an M&S text link or advert on the website.  This link or advert will have a tracking code built into it so that M&S will know you have come through PTA Planet and when you make a purchase they will pay the commission to us. This is the same for every single retailer on our site.

To join PTA Planet, click on the button below which will show you the information we require to sign you up – it’ll only take you a couple of minutes. We’ll register you as soon as we can – usually the same day and you’ll receive a welcome email from us explaining all that you’ll need to know.
